The search is on for Sale and Altrincham's 'Nicest Neighbour'
Residential lettings agency Jordan's, which has a branch in Altrincham, wants to find that local resident who is always there to help others in times of need. William Jordan, managing director, said: "Considerate neighbours bind communities together and can really affect your home life. We've launched this competition to celebrate those people who go one step further and are always there to help you when you need it. Our recent bout of snow really brought out our sense of community. Landlords and tenants were telling us about all kinds of good turns. We had neighbours taking bins out, running shopping errands and clearing drives. We want to hear why your neighbour should be crowned the nicest in the region." To enter the Nicest Neighbour competition, simply explain in no more than 100 words why your neighbour deserves the award. The winner, who will receive a bouquet of flowers every month for a year, will be chosen by Jordan's and the Sale and Attrincham Messenger. The closing date for entries is Monday, April 5. Entries sflould be sent to Victoria Richardson, RMS PR, 20 Market Street, Altrincham, WA14 1PF, or email victoria@rmspr.co.uk enclosing your name, address and telephone number.
